Tachograph fraud
The driving and rest times are regularly exceeded by professional drivers, whether or not on the instructions and/or with the knowledge of the employer.
In practice, there is a lot of tampering with the registration of driving and rest times, this is also called tachograph fraud. This includes showing a driver card from a third party, using a false or stolen driver card. Or destroying or falsifying registration sheets or deleting stored data from the driver card.
