Termination agreement

Employer and employee can terminate an employment contract by mutual agreement. The conditions under which the employment contract will end are included in a termination agreement or a settlement agreement.

Since the introduction of the Work and Security Act, the termination agreement is subject to legal rules. A termination agreement must be in writing, and there is a 14-day period for an employee, after concluding the agreement, in which he can still give notice that he wants to waive the termination agreement.
